You can learn mantra meditation

There’s an alarmingly small percentage of our society that would say that they have a perfect life, and that they have no aspect of their daily circumstances that they’d change if the opportunity presented itself. The irony is that every day presents us all with the chance to change the things we’d like to improve, but we often lack the patience and the self-confidence to do what’s necessary to become more content, successful, satisfied, and fulfilled.

Most of us significantly overestimate what we can accomplish in a single year. But we also seriously underestimate what we can get done in five.  So the most important element in changing your life is changing the way you think about life, shifting from an impatient, scarcity-minded, pessimistic outlook to a patient, confident, and successful attitude.

Fortunately, this is not as difficult as it might seem at first. It might feel counterintuitive, but the best method to achieve greater confidence and a more positive outlook is also the easiest:  changing the way you think literally changes your life, and there is no better way to change your thoughts than through guided imagery meditation. While meditation was once considered the domain of Eastern religions and their proselytes, it has become a far more mainstream practice, helping millions to improve their lives by improving their thoughts.

There are a number of mantras for meditation that can help you replace any negative, self-defeating thought patterns with positive and supportive attitudes. Doing this will help you learn how to build confidence.

Once you’ve started a meditation practice, or begun using meditation mantras (which are really just positive words and phrases repeated over time to help shift to a more positive, confident prevailing attitude), you’ll probably find that your self-confidence and self esteem improve noticeably. You’re more likely to have both the confidence and the patience to make meaningful and lasting changes to your life.
