Kegel exercises are a known bladder exercise for women. These types of exercises are often performed in order to strengthen the pelvic muscles, especially for pregnant women. Although these exercises do not work on the bladder muscles directly, it can help strengthen the pelvic muscles to prevent the organs within the pelvic are from sagging. What is good about the Kegel exercises is that it also recommended as pelvic floor exercises for men.

While you are sitting on the toilet bowl, try to stop your urine from flowing. If you can, then this means you have located the right muscles, as these are the same muscles that you have to work on in order to cure your bladder problem. You can also teach your child how to do the pelvic exercises, but make sure to remind her that this should not be turned into a habit.

Try to imagine that you are passing gas. Squeeze the muscles that you are using to pass this gas. If you feel like something is being pulled inside you, then you are working on the right muscles. You may do a yoga exercise known as sacral lock. To start on this exercise, pull your belly muscles inwards then hold it. Slowly release the muscles and let it rest for several seconds before doing the exercise again.

Start the second set but this time, you should do 10 fast squeezes. This exercise should be done at least 4 to 5 times per day.

Take note that it is not good to feel bored with these bladder exercise as it may take 3 to 6 weeks before the results became visible. Remember that exercises are there not just to teach you how to lose weight but to help you strengthen certain body parts as well.
